Your 16 weeks pregnant!!
168 days to go!
Baby is measuring: 4.6 inches & 3.5 oz
Size: Avocado 🥑
You may hear your baby’s heartbeat for the first time at your next doctors visit! 💓
His or her skin starts to become more waterproof because the amniotic fluid is increasingly made from urine produced by your baby’s kidneys and bladder. The urine luckily does not contain waste products, since these are transported across the placenta.
Baby’s listening to your voice, thanks to tiny bones forming in his or her ears. 👂🏻
Baby’s growing hair, lashes and eyebrows.
And baby’s forming taste buds.
You might start feeling baby move! It may feel like flutters or gas.
Backache, another effect of pregnancy hormones. Make sure you’re exercising, that you’re sitting and standing up straight and do some stretches. Pregnancy yoga is helpful too! 🤸
Bigger boobs- they should be ready for breastfeeding by the end of the second trimester.
Constipation, as your uterus starts pressing on your intestines. 🚽
Forgetfulness (la pregnancy brain). No one knows for sure what causes this!
Dry, itchy, sensitive eyes. Blame the hormones once again. 👀
Glowing skin.. FINALLY!
